With the 2014 Borgata Poker Open in the books, the BorgataPoker Room is gearing up for another Saturday Series event and $250,000guaranteed Deep Stack Double Play this weekend.
The popular Saturday Series returns February 8 with a $100,000 guaranteed, $350 + $50 No Limit Hold’em (Re-entry) tournament in the poker room and Signature Room.
Saturday Series events are held in months without a Borgata Poker Open and have become one of the most popular tournament events at Borgata.
Players get 15K in starting chips and re-buys are allowed through the first eight levels (30-minute levels). Get the full structure here.
On-Site Registration for this event begins Friday, February 7th from 6pm – midnight and re-opens on Saturday, February 8th from 8am until the end of Level 6.
The Saturday Series is followed by a $250,000 guaranteed, $1,000 + $90 Deep Stack Double Play No Limit Hold’em event with Day 1A scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11am and Day 1B set for Monday Feb. 10 also at 11am.
Two qualifiers for the big event are also set for Saturday and Sunday at 4pm respectively. The satellites are $220 + $30 buy-in, NL Hold’em events that will send about one in five players to the $250K event. Here’s the structure for the qualifiers.
The big event is a three-day event (four counting the two opening days) that should wrap up with a winner Wednesday Feb. 12. Players start with 25K in chips and re-entry is allowed through Level 6 (60-minute levels). Here’s the full structure.
On-Site Registration begins for the $250K Double Play:
For Day 1A (Sunday, February 9th) Registration: Beginning Saturday, February 8th from 6PM until midnight. Registration resumes Sunday, February 9th from 9am until the end of Level 6.
For Day 1B (Monday, February 10th) Registration: Beginning Saturday, February 8th from 6pm until midnight. Registration resumes Sunday, February 9th from 9am-10pm and on Monday, February 10th from 9am until the end of Level 6.
Under Borgata’s Double Play feature, any player busting out at any level on Day 1A can re-buy on Day 1B. Sunday satellite winners play Day 1B.
