Borgata Bad Beat Jackpot Hits for 129th Time

The Borgata Bad Beat Jackpot hit Sunday night for $50,000, marking the 129th time the jackpot has hit.

At around 6PM on a $5-$10 No Limit Hold'em table, Jenny Nguyen's Quad 8's were bested by the 10-High Straight Flush held by Andy Gryszko.

Nguyen lost the hand, but took home $20k from the Bad Beat Jackpot, while Gryszko won the hand plus an addition $10k.  Five other players at the table split the remaining $20k.

The Borgata Bad Beat Jackpot has now hit four times for $1,213,203 in 2013.

The full Bad Beat Jackpot (Quad 10's or higher) is currently $316,423 with the small Bad Beat Jackpot (Quad 2's - 9's) at $50,000.
